Farm History

The history of the Wälderhof dates back to the 17th century.

At the time the Black Forest farm was built entirely of wood and had a thatched roof with its own power supply via a small hydroelectric plant. The farmyard was operated until 1960 through several generations in full-time . All foods were produced in court and garden.

1960 part-time farm

From 1960, the farm was operated only as a part-time farm, because our grandfather worked in a manufacturing company in place.

1990 Construction of apartments

1990 apartments were finally grown and had since rented to guests. In recent years, the apartments have been continually modernized and renovated. Since 2011, the heaters have been replaced by an ultra-modern wood chip plant.
